Won our last T20 league game

We have won 3 out of 4 T20 league games.
Now, PCCB and most likely Gent CC will also win 3 out of 4 games.
Net Run Rate will decide on who qualifies for the T20 Semi-Finals in August.

Good start of our T20 league in 2012

We have a good chance of qualifying to the semi-finals in T20 league this year.
We have won against AICC & Crescent CC-2 but we have lost against PCCB.

We need to win against Gent CC in our next T20 league game this weekend in Mariakerke.

Our indoor nets starts this weekend on 15th Jan 2012 in BSB.
All members and cricket enthusiasts are welcome.
Timings: 1600 – 1730 hrs.
Nets will continue every weekend in BSB between the same hours.

Great hospitality by the Denhaag IBIS CC

First tour of this season was really good.
We had a sunny weather and a great hospitality by the hosts (IBIS CC).
When compared to last year’s Prague tour this is really fabulous.
The hosts offered great food and we have promised the meeting to be an annual affair.
We won the game by 6 runs. But everyone will agree that they have won our hearts !!!

12Stars defeated Arcadians II by 72 runs last Sunday (14-Aug).

The highlight of the match was Anthony’s batting. Anthony played superbly for his 24 and seemed to be going for much more when he again somehow changed the trajectory of the ball towards his nose. Someone has correctly said….”Abroad to see wonders the traveller goes, and neglects the fine things which lie under his nose” . Anthony being experienced in this sort of recursive injury, was moved to the hospital soon. 12Stars wishes him a fast recovery.

Also, in the last league match with Arcadians Ganesh dropped a catch of Colin walker. During that he got his left ring finger fractured and had to undergo a surgery. Hope he also recovers quickly.

This weekend we will have our last league game against our arch rivals “Gent Arcadians” in their home turf.
Hopefully stray dogs are not behind our fielders !!!

Yesterday (31-Jul) we had a thriller game with Mechelen Eagles.
We chased a target of 336 runs in Vrijbroek Park !!!
